Kolkata, 07th October, 2026: To celebrate the rich musical legacy of modern Bengali songs released during Durga Pujo for over 110 years, Surinder Music, once again has come up with a melodious song, Kaash Phooler Gondho, sung by one of the most versatile and popular singers of modern times, Mekhla Dasgupta, composed & written by Sreeraj Mitra, a communications professional, and arranged by veteran music director, Rocket Mondal. The song was released today by renowned Film Director, Mr Raja Chanda, in the presence of the artistes at Chapter 2.

The song, presented by Surinder Singh & Nispal Singh and produced by Surinder Music, will be released by Surinder Music in their YouTube channel and will be available in other digital music platforms.

Mekhla Dasgupta is one of the most talented and sought after singers of the current generation. With a few popular songs under her belt, Mekhla is also a crowd puller with her Live shows. The lyrics of this song are by Sreeraj Mitra, a Communication Consultant, who at the same time pursues his passion for writing songs and even composing at times, for over a decade.
Kaash Phooler Gandho, programmed by Subham Pandit, has been recorded at Studio Vibrations by Siddheswar Banerjee and mixing and mastering done by Sudip Santra at Studio JMD Sounds.
