KIIT World School Organises Health Awareness and Tree Plantation Activities Under Seva Sankalp Campaign

Gurugram, Sep 01: As part of the Seva Sankalp Campaign, KIIT World School organised a series of initiatives focused on promoting health awareness, personal hygiene and environmental conservation among students.

A special health and hygiene awareness session was organised for girl students in collaboration with a partner organisation. The session focused on important aspects of adolescent health, menstruation, personal hygiene and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Students were encouraged to openly discuss health-related concerns and ask questions without hesitation, helping create a more informed and supportive environment.

The campaign also highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility through a tree plantation drive organised in collaboration with the Lions Club. Students, teachers and parents actively participated in planting saplings on the school campus. The initiative also sensitised students about caring for plants, protecting natural resources and contributing towards a greener environment.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neelima Kamrah, Principal, KIIT World School, said, “Education is not limited to academic learning. It is equally important to help children understand the value of their health and their responsibility towards the environment. Initiatives like these provide students with practical learning experiences and encourage them to become responsible and aware members of society. We are pleased to see our students, teachers and parents come together and actively participate in these initiatives.”

The activities under the Seva Sankalp Campaign aimed to reinforce the message that personal well-being and environmental responsibility are integral to building a healthier and more sustainable society. The active participation of students further strengthened the campaign’s focus on awareness, community participation and social responsibility.
