Mumbai, 1st October 2026: Oteria, the Indian skincare brand which has been formulating skincare products based on the natural cycles of the skin, has announced the launch of its Encapsulated Retinol Night Serum. This is an addition to its range of skincare products in the Yawn series for night time skincare.
The product range in question is built on the philosophy of Oteria’s night time skincare range, where Yawn series focuses on cell turnover and repair and regeneration.
The key ingredient in the product is 0.5% Encapsulated Retinol, which is delivered using the innovative double-layer encapsulation technique. The delivery system ensures that the stability of the retinol is maintained and the controlled delivery of the actives reduces any chances of irritation. As per Oteria, the formulation promotes collagen production and improves the look of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness.
Retinol is complemented by the Centella Asiatica Extract due to its skin-soothing and barrier-protecting qualities and Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Extract that naturally contains Vitamin A and Vitamin C as well as essential fatty acids. In combination, the three ingredients provide for repair, replenishment, and resilience with the result of smoother, firmer, and more even-toned appearance of skin.

Even though retinol still holds the title of one of the most recognisable ingredients used for the purpose of anti-ageing skincare, sensitivity and potential irritation can make it difficult to use. The Oteria’s Encapsulated Retinol Night Serum relies on delivery-focused approach by means of double layering technology of encapsulation for the gradual delivery of retinol.

Three Ingredient Solution for Skin Care at Night
The formula includes:
0.5% Encapsulated Retinol – Stable time-released retinol that promotes collagen production and improves appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and overall firmness of the skin.
Centella Asiatica Extract – Works as a skin soothers, reduces skin inflammation, strengthens the skin barrier, and aids recovery.
Rosa Canina Extract (Rosehip) – Contains Vitamin A, C, and Essential Fatty Acids, improves appearance of skin discoloration, fine lines, and dullness.
Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, and Sodium PCA are some more ingredients in the serum.
Designed for the Overnight Routine
The serum has a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture and is designed to be applied in the evening after cleansing, when the skin is dry. Oteria recommends gently patting a peanut-sized amount onto the face, followed by a moisturiser suited to the user’s skin. Broad-spectrum sunscreen should be applied the following morning.
