
New Delhi, 23 September: Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Bhalindra Singh as Managing Director within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in New Delhi, he will focus on large-scale transformations for automotive clients, with a particular emphasis on cost transformation across design-to-value and procurement excellence.
Mr. Singh brings more than 17 years of experience across the management consulting and technology sectors. He has advised clients across multiple subsegments of the automotive sector, including two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, material handling and construction equipment, as well as the cement, consumer electricals and industrial sectors. His experience includes leading a two-year cost excellence program for a leading Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, delivering a bill of materials cost reduction of more than 10%.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Singh spent more than 13 years with McKinsey & Company in Gurgaon, where he most recently served as Associate Partner in the Advanced Industries practice. In this role, he led diverse teams advising clients on strategic and business transformation priorities.
