The Junoon Foundation is set to present its third production, With Her, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai. The production brings together six young dancers, five dance forms and one central question: why do we dance at all? The story follows a Dance Master and his students as they meet five master dancers, each representing a different dance form and offering their own perspective on why they dance. The production features Bharatanatyam, Ballet, Kathak, Contemporary and Garba.
Featuring young dancers who are deeply committed to their craft, alongside Mythili Zatakia, With Her explores themes of devotion, discipline, longing, freedom and joy. It is a warm and moving story about finding your own reason to dance.
The seating begins at 6:30 PM, followed by the performance at 6:45 PM. The show runs for 90 minutes, including an interval, and is suitable for all ages. Tickets can be booked via bookmyshow.
The production is also part of The Junoon Foundation’s larger effort to make dance training and professional opportunities more accessible to young dancers. Proceeds from every ticket sold will directly support the artistic development of a dancer at The Junoon Academy in Dhasa, Gujarat, while also supporting the Foundation’s outreach work with communities in rural India.
