New Delhi, Sep 18: Ruhe India, a pioneering D2C brand in kitchen and bathware fittings, today announced an aggressive physical retail expansion strategy to scale its offline presence across India. The company currently runs 9 exclusive stores and following the success of its experiential store model, plans to expand to 50 outlets in the next 12 months.

Ruhe India Accelerates Offline Footprint, Targets 50 Exclusive Stores in the Next 12 Months

The offline business has emerged as a significant growth driver for Ruhe, complementing its digital-first model and enabling the brand to deepen customer engagement, improve product discovery, and drive stronger market penetration across key markets. With the company witnessing robust growth, Ruhe is also targeting a revenue milestone of ₹500 crore over the next three financial years, backed by a strong 90% CAGR.

Ruhe India is scaling its offline footprint through a zero-inventory retail model, with stores expected to achieve capital neutrality within 5-7 months of launch. This engine delivers kitchen and sanitary ware to dealers from local warehouses in under four hours, eliminating the need for heavy upfront dealer stock. The company is now focused on expanding access across a significantly larger pincode network spanning metropolitan, Tier 1, and Tier 2 markets.

Ruhe’s physical stores are designed around a curated “boutique buying” concept aimed at tackling one of the home improvement sector’s biggest friction points: product fitment and sizing errors. By offering a tactile and live-demo environment, homeowners, architects, and interior designers can evaluate dimensions, materials, and water-flow dynamics before purchasing.

“For years, kitchen and bathroom fittings were bought through fragmented dealer networks, often leaving homeowners with severe fitment issues and uncertain quality. Our exclusive stores bridge digital convenience with hands-on product validation, while our zero-inventory model addresses partners’ working capital challenges. With retail contributing nearly a third of revenues and initial outlets breaking even in under six months, expanding to 50 stores in the next 12 months is a natural step. With a 90% CAGR and a target of ₹500 crore in revenue over the next three financial years, we are seeing strong market demand and building a solid foundation for our long-term growth,” said Kapil Gupta, Founder and Director at Ruhe India

By pairing its robust digital-first engine with a high-touch offline network, Ruhe India continues to redefine consumer expectations in the Indian bathware and kitchen fittings industry. The company’s offline expansion, supported by its zero-inventory retail model and strong growth momentum, is aimed at creating a wider and more accessible retail network across India.

With the expansion from 9 to 50 exclusive stores planned over the next 12 months, Ruhe India is set to strengthen its presence across metropolitan, Tier 1, and Tier 2 markets, combining the convenience of digital discovery with the trust, tangibility, and product validation offered by physical retail.
