New Delhi, Sep 16: Jio Haptik’s SOLO by Interakt, an AI-powered growth app designed to help solopreneurs and small businesses manage and grow their businesses, recently brought its “You Bring the Idea, We Bring the Team” campaign to Delhi-NCR. The three-day activation took the pitch room to the streets, with a glass-fronted Canter travelling across IIT Delhi, NSUT, Connaught Place and Cyber Park in Gurugram, inviting aspiring entrepreneurs, students, professionals and small-business owners to pitch their business ideas to a jury, with a ₹1 lakh cash reward for the winning idea.

Over the three-day activation, SOLO engaged with 300+ participants, with 185+ business ideas pitched across Delhi NCR. The campaign saw participation from individuals across categories including Healthtech, eCommerce, consumer tech, IOT and Edtech, reflecting the diversity of entrepreneurial ambitions among Delhi-NCR’s emerging business community. In addition to the pitches, 10,000 people engaged with the activation across the three days.
The initiative was designed to bring the conversation around entrepreneurship directly to people building businesses or aspiring to become entrepreneurs, while allowing participants to receive feedback from experienced business and technology leaders.
Commenting on the initiative, Ahshad Jussawala, CEO, Jio Haptik, said,
“India’s entrepreneurial energy is everywhere, and this activation allowed us to meet that ambition directly. What we saw across Delhi-NCR was a strong appetite to build, experiment, and solve real-world problems amongst today’s young entrepreneurs. At SOLO, we want to complement that ambition by using AI to take some of the everyday work of running and growing a business off an entrepreneur’s plate, allowing them to focus on what matters most—building their business.”
The ideas presented during the activation were evaluated by a jury comprising Ahshad Jussawala, CEO, Jio Haptik, and Rajan Luthra, Co-Founder & COO, Metvy, based on the problem statement, innovation, market potential, feasibility, and scalability of each idea.
Reflecting on the pitches, Rajan Luthra, Co-Founder & COO, Metvy, said,
“What stood out was the diversity of ideas and the conviction with which participants presented them. Many of the pitches addressed very real problems and demonstrated a strong understanding of their customers. The quality of participation made the selection challenging, but also reinforced the entrepreneurial potential we saw across the three days.”
The winning pitch came from Akshit Arora, a final-year B.Tech student at IIT Delhi, who presented an innovative smart glasses concept designed to support people living with conditions such as ALS, Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord injuries. The glasses are designed to help users communicate with and respond to their surroundings, supporting an ability that may be significantly affected by their condition. The idea was selected for its strong problem-solution fit, market potential and innovation.
Reflecting on the experience, Akshit said,
“This has been an incredible opportunity to put my idea forward and receive feedback from people who understand what it takes to build a business. Jio Haptik and SOLO are creating a fantastic opportunity for solopreneurs and SMBs to pursue their ideas and build businesses of their own. The ₹1 lakh reward will help me take the next step towards turning my idea into reality.”
The activation is an extension of SOLO’s larger proposition: “You built your business yourself. You shouldn’t have to grow it yourself.” Built by Interakt, SOLO is designed to bring together multiple aspects of running and growing a small business—from content creation and customer conversations to lead follow-ups, marketing campaigns and customer support—through an AI-powered platform.
The conversations during the activation highlighted some of the recurring challenges faced by aspiring entrepreneurs and small-business owners, particularly around customer acquisition, marketing and content creation, and customer follow-ups and support. Notably, 90% of the 300 participants said they would be more likely to start a business if marketing and customer support were taken care of, underscoring the potential for AI-powered tools to help entrepreneurs manage these day-to-day aspects as they focus on building and growing their businesses.
With India’s rapidly expanding MSME ecosystem, the opportunity to make technology, and particularly AI, more accessible and useful for small businesses is significant. Through SOLO, Jio Haptik’s Interakt is looking to make AI less complex and more practical for entrepreneurs, helping them manage the multiple functions involved in building and growing a business.
