EVERETT, Wash., Sept 11 — Fortive Corporation (“Fortive”) (NYSE: FTV) today announced that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) has appointed Susan L. Main as a director of Fortive, effective September 9, 2026, with the size of the Board expanded from eight to nine members. In addition, Ms. Main was concurrently appointed to the Audit Committee.

Shar Dubey, Chair of the Board, said, “Sue brings deep financial and operational expertise, an independent perspective, and a strong track record of oversight as a public company director. Her extensive leadership experience and her commitment to strong governance will be invaluable as the Board oversees Fortive’s operations, financial reporting, and risk management.”

Ms. Main most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated from 2012 to 2023, where she led the company’s global finance organization and played a key role in supporting its growth strategy, with responsibility spanning financial reporting, audit and compliance, and enterprise risk management. Prior to serving as Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Main was Teledyne’s Vice President and Controller from 2004 to 2012. Prior to her role at Teledyne, she served as Vice President and Controller of Water Pik Technologies, Inc. and held finance and audit roles of increasing responsibility at the former Allegheny Teledyne Inc. and the former Hughes Aircraft Company. Ms. Main currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Allegion plc, where she chairs the Audit and Finance Committee, and as a member of the Board of Directors of Ashland Inc., where she serves as the Lead Director and a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee. She previously served as a director of Garrett Motion Inc. Ms. Main holds a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton.
