Bengaluru, Sept 11: What if your Saturday night plans involved ice cream instead of the usual bar crawl? This September, Scoop Room is giving Bengaluru a new reason to stay out after dark with “The Scoop After Dark”, a one-night-only, ticketed experience that brings together ice cream, music, playful energy and a distinctly after-hours mood.
Taking place on Saturday, September 19, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the experience is designed to reimagine how a dessert destination can come alive after sunset. Rather than treating ice cream as the final stop of a night out, Scoop Room is putting the scoop centre stage.
The evening taps into Bengaluru’s growing appetite for experiences that blur the lines between food, socialising and nightlife. The city’s after-dark culture has increasingly expanded beyond traditional pubs and clubs, with younger audiences looking for spaces where they can unwind, meet friends and experience something that feels a little different.
For Scoop Room, that means taking its playful, flavour-forward identity and turning it into an evening experience.
“The Scoop After Dark” is intended to be more than a regular visit for a scoop. It is a limited-format experience built around the idea of enjoying ice cream in a completely different setting after hours, with a curated atmosphere and a crowd coming specifically for the experience.
Scoop Room, which launched in Bengaluru earlier this year, has already been making a case for premium ice cream as a category worthy of the same attention given to coffee, chocolate and other craft-led food experiences. Its menu currently features 24 vegetarian and eggless flavours, spanning familiar favourites and more unexpected combinations such as Cookie Dough Hour, Paan-tastic, Pick Me Avo and Nutty Basil.
The Scoop After Dark takes that philosophy one step further, shifting the focus from simply what’s in the cup to what happens around the scoop.
