Sep 10: As Playground Season 5 entered its much-awaited finale week, the pressure to secure a spot in the final race reached an all-time high. As the game entered another crucial phase, the Q-Bit brought a new game-changing twist, leaving the players shocked and adding another layer of uncertainty to the race for the finale.
With emotions running high in the house, Mannat Kulharia found herself overwhelmed and longing to go home, but conversations with Vansh Khandeka aka Bacchi and Simar Sethi gave her the motivation to push through and fight for her place in the game. The stakes rose further when Mannat and Vansh emerged victorious in an IRL dual task, earning them a chance to become the third finalist. However, the final decision was left to the Q-Bit, which gave the duo just 10 minutes to discuss amongst themselves and decide who would step up as the finalist. Despite weighing their options, neither Mannat nor Vansh was willing to give up their chance at the finale.
With no decision reached within the given time, the Q-Bit declared that both players had lost all their remaining rumbles and gave them another five minutes to make a choice. Yet again, neither was willing to step down, leaving the Q-Bit with no choice but to decide their fate in a way neither player expected.
Called into the Resource Hub, Mannat and Vansh were presented with two envelopes, one containing a finalist spot and the other an immediate elimination. With their Playground Season 5 journeys now resting on a single choice, the two picked their envelopes and prepared to open them in front of the other players. Before leaving the Resource Hub, the two shared an emotional hug, with Mannat breaking down as the weight of the moment sank in. Vansh consoled her, reminding her that they had given their best throughout the challenge and the game.
As the emotional moment came to an end, Vansh opened his envelope, only to discover that his Playground Season 5 journey had come to an end. Mannat, on the other hand, secured the third and final finalist spot, joining Prateik Jain and Simar Sethi in the race for the ultimate Playground Season 5 title.
With three spots in the Top 5 now secured, the mentors and players enter the final stretch of the competition, as the battle for the remaining two places intensifies.
