September 9, 2026: Swinburne University of Technology is now accepting applications for its Bachelor of Business program for the 2027 intake. Designed for students looking to build careers across diverse areas of business, the degree combines foundational business studies with specialised major options and practical learning to develop future-ready business professionals.
The undergraduate program enables students to build knowledge across areas including financial decision-making, economics, business digitalisation, management, sustainability, entrepreneurship, statistics and marketing. Students can then select a major area of specialisation from options including Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics and Analysis, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Marketing and Sports Management.
The course also provides students with opportunities to develop digital and industry-relevant skills through platforms such as MYOB, Xero and Google Analytics, while engaging with sustainability projects, industry experts and mentors. Students can further strengthen their professional experience through Swinburne’s Work Integrated Learning programs, which may include placements, internships or industry-linked projects.
Course Delivery:
The Bachelor of Business is offered over three years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time duration at Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus. The program requires students to complete 300 credit points, comprising eight core units, eight major units and eight elective units.
The course combines core business studies with specialised major units and electives, allowing students to tailor their degree to their career interests. Students can also undertake an International Business Minor and have the option to combine the degree with selected double-degree programs.
Entry Requirements: Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent international qualification) and meet the university’s admission requirements.

English Language Requirements: Students will need an IELTS overall band score of 6.0, with no individual band below 6.0, or an equivalent recognised English language qualification.
Tuition: AUD 43,430 yearly (approximately INR 29,45,425.64)
