CHENNAI – Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, marked National Sports Day with immense rigour by organizing a series of sports and games competitions for staff members across all Regions. This event was conducted during the period from 15th August to 30th August 2026 commemorating the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand.
The 14-day program witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff, promoting fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship across the organization. The prize winners were felicitated at a special award ceremony graced by Shri Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director & CEO, and Shri Joydeep Dutta Roy and Shri Dhanaraj T, Executive Directors of the Bank.
