Multi-city initiative brings personalised nutrition insights and expert guidance closer to consumers, encouraging more informed conversations around everyday health and wellbeing

National Nutrition Week: Centrum empowers consumers to decode micronutrient deficiency through nationwide ‘Knowtrition’ initiative

Sept 02: As India observes National Nutrition Week from September 1 to 7, Haleon’s leading multivitamin brand, Centrum, has unveiled its Knowtrition Campaign empowering consumers to assess their micronutrient sufficiency levels and take proactive steps towards better everyday health. Common signs such as fatigue, low energy, weakened immunity, muscle weakness and brittle nails may be linked to underlying micronutrient deficiencies, yet often go unrecognised. Through the campaign, Centrum is encouraging consumers to look beyond everyday symptoms and better understand their nutritional needs before they impact overall wellbeing and quality of life.

As part of National Nutrition Week, Centrum has set up dedicated Knowtrition kiosks to help consumers gain deeper insights into their nutritional status through Vitastiq assessments, a non-invasive and painless screening tool that provides an indicative overview of potential micronutrient gaps. The assessment offers insights across essential vitamins and minerals, along with information on their natural dietary sources, helping consumers better understand the role of nutrition in maintaining overall health. To support informed decision-making, qualified nutritionists and health experts at the kiosks will help decode individual assessment results, enabling consumers to better understand their nutritional requirements and take proactive steps towards supporting their long-term health and wellbeing through informed lifestyle and dietary choices.

Speaking about the initiative, Deepali Agarwal, Head – Wellness & OTC, Haleon ISC, said, “India is unstoppable and micronutrient deficiencies should not pose impediments in this progress. Bringing in National Nutrition Week, we continue to nurture a class of health-literate and aware consumers, who take proactive measures to enhance their quality of life. What we eat might not be ensuring sufficient levels of essential minerals and vitamins that quietly support daily function and wellbeing. Through our Knowtrition campaign, we are extending expert guidance directly to consumers, helping translate healthcare information into action. With studies indicating that 8 out of 10 Indians suffer from some form of micronutrient deficiency, understanding what your body needs gets you closer to sufficiency and better everyday health. This is exactly what we are enabling, rooted in Haleon’s mission to place health in more hands.”

Beyond these assessments, the kiosks are designed as consumer education platforms that make the science of multivitamins and nutraceuticals relevant to everyday life. Through interactive learning experiences and expert-led guidance, Centrum seeks to build greater awareness of micronutrient sufficiency and its impact on energy, immunity, and overall body function. By empowering consumers with credible information and actionable knowledge, the initiative aims to foster healthier habits and drive more proactive engagement with personal health and wellbeing. While the assessment provides indicative nutritional insights, any specific health concern, symptom or medical condition should be evaluated and managed under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.

With this, Centrum is strengthening its role as a trusted partner in everyday health by helping consumers move from awareness to action. By democratizing access to personalised nutrition insights and expert-led education, the initiative seeks to address gaps in health and nutrition literacy and encourage a more proactive approach to wellbeing. The campaign reinforces Haleon’s commitment to advancing health literacy and delivering better everyday health with humanity, making trusted health information more accessible and actionable for millions of consumers across India.
