India, 26th August 2026: Cüraa, the kitchen and lifestyle brand founded by Chef Sanjyot Keer and Neeraj Kumawat, today announced that it has raised INR 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital, with continued participation from existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai and Better Capital. The round was advised by investment banker ValueBridge Capital, a Merisis Company. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the brand’s product portfolio across pre-cook and cooking categories, strengthen its warehousing and supply chain infrastructure, deepen its presence across D2C, marketplaces and quick commerce, and hire senior leadership across key functions.
The fundraise comes at a time when India’s kitchen products market is undergoing a significant shift. As modern Indian kitchens evolve, consumers are increasingly seeking products that combine performance, durability, thoughtful design and aesthetics while addressing the realities of how India cooks. Yet much of the market continues to be split between legacy brands competing largely on price and newer entrants prioritising visual appeal over solving for the realities of Indian cooking.
Today, Cüraa has served more than 3 lakh households, while growing its monthly net revenue 25x since launch in September 2024, records an average product rating of 4.5+, and has built a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of over 70, reflecting strong consumer satisfaction and repeat advocacy. It has built early traction through a focused product portfolio, strong consumer feedback and content-led discovery, with demonstration, credibility, reliability and product experience shaping purchase decisions
Founded by Chef Sanjyot Keer, one of the early movers in India’s digital food ecosystem who spent over a decade building Your Food Lab into one of India’s largest and most trusted cooking communities with an average monthly household reach of over 100 million, and entrepreneur Neeraj Kumawat, Cüraa brings together deep culinary insight with operational excellence to build products designed around how India actually cooks. The company is creating a modern kitchen brand rooted in real consumer behaviour, combining thoughtful design, everyday utility and high performance across the cooking journey. Rooted in authentic consumer engagement, the brand’s products are discovered through education, demonstrations, trust and authentic consumer engagement.
Commenting on the fundraise, Sanjyot Keer, Co-founder, Cüraa, said, “For the last decade, I have had the opportunity to understand how millions of Indians cook, the challenges they face in their kitchens and the products they wish existed. Cüraa is a natural extension of that journey. We are building products that solve real cooking problems while bringing together performance, thoughtful design and everyday usability. This investment allows us to accelerate that vision and help more Indian households cook better.”
Neeraj Kumawat, Co-founder and CEO, Cüraa, added, “We are building Cüraa for the long term. This capital allows us to strengthen every part of the business, from product development and supply chain to customer experience and distribution. Our focus remains on building a modern Indian consumer brand that delivers exceptional products consistently, at scale.”
The investment also reflects a broader evolution in India’s creator economy, where creators with deep category expertise and long-standing consumer trust are building enduring consumer businesses. Having spent over a decade shaping how millions of Indians cook through content, Chef Sanjyot is now translating those insights into products designed specifically for Indian homes, while Neeraj is building the operating foundation required to scale the business sustainably. Raj Shamani, as strategic advisor, adds consumer reach, brand amplification and strategic support.
Commenting on the investment, Anand Batra, Investments Team, 3one4 Capital, said, “Cüraa combines trusted culinary demand with the operating discipline required to scale a consumer appliances business. Sanjyot has earned deep trust with Indian home cooks, while Neeraj brings the systems orientation needed across product, supply chain and channels. We are excited to partner with the team as they build a mass-premium kitchen brand designed for Indian homes.”
Adding on, Salone Sehgal, Founder and Managing Partner, Lumikai, commented, “When we invested in Cüraa, it was based on a simple belief: India’s new-age digital consumer would gravitate towards products their creators stand behind. India has millions of creators with audiences. Very few have communities. Fewer still can turn a community into a business people trust. We read consumer behaviour through a framework we call DOSE – dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, endorphins. Most creator-led businesses monetise dopamine: the scroll or the impulse. Cüraa has built a winning product on oxytocin i.e. trust, and respect for the consumer. Attention is abundant in India. Trust is the scarce asset. Curaa is what happens when the most trusted creator in a massive category, their community, and commerce come together.”
Sunitha Viswanathan, Partner, Kae Capital, said,”Cüraa is building for a consumer and a category that have both evolved. The modern Indian kitchen needs products that combine performance, thoughtful design and an understanding of how people actually cook. We’ve seen the team build strong consumer trust and pair it with disciplined execution. That conviction has only grown, and we’re excited to double down for the next phase of Cüraa’s journey.”
Cüraa will continue to focus on three priorities in its next phase: building products around Indian kitchen use cases, expanding across pre-cook and cooking categories, and strengthening the operating backbone required for consistent quality, availability and customer service.
