Greater Noida, Aug 21: Taking a significant step towards environmental conservation and building a greener city, Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Omega–1, Greater Noida, has pledged to plant 10,000 saplings across Greater Noida within one month, under its “Oxygen For Tomorrow” campaign. The initiative aims to increase green cover, raise awareness about environmental conservation and encourage local communities to actively participate in plantation and the care of trees.

The campaign was launched at Jalvayu Vihar, where more than 1,000 saplings were planted. ACP Mrs Manisha Singh, former MLA Mrs Vimla Yadav and CDR Ravindra Singh, along with other dignitaries and local residents, were present on the occasion. Following the launch, plantation drives were conducted across several residential societies and localities in Greater Noida.
So far, the campaign has witnessed the plantation of 30 saplings at Migsun Twins, 1,000 at Jalvayu Vihar, 1,000 at Purvanchal Royal City, 500 at Sigma III, 400 at XU-2, 500 at XU-1, 600 at Alpha-1, 400 at Migsun Ultimo, 500 at Migsun Vilasa, 400 across Blocks A, B and C of Sector XU-III, and 300 at Beta-II. In total, 5,630 saplings have been planted under the campaign so far.
In the upcoming phase, plantation activities will also be organised in other residential societies and public areas across Greater Noida.
Dr Sunil Kumar Baliyan, COO and Facility Director, Yatharth Hospital, said,
“Health and the environment are deeply interconnected. Clean air, a better environment and increased green cover are essential for a healthy life. Through the Oxygen For Tomorrow campaign, our objective is not limited to planting saplings but also to encourage people to ensure their protection and regular care.”
The hospital has appealed to citizens, RWAs and local organisations to join the campaign by planting and nurturing trees in their surroundings. The initiative reflects Yatharth Hospital’s commitment towards environmental sustainability, community participation and the creation of a greener and healthier Greater Noida.
