Jaipur, Aug 20: Specta Quartz Surfaces, India’s luxury quartz surface brand by ARL Group, has unveiled the latest chapter of its ‘Stories Cast in Stone’ campaign, featuring internationally acclaimed chef and MasterChef Vikas Khanna. The collaboration celebrates Khanna’s remarkable journey, his passion for Indian cuisine and his ambition to take the flavours of India to global audiences, while introducing Specta’s latest Krest Collection.
From a kid who failed his fifth grade exams to becoming one of the most recognised Indian chefs on the global culinary stage, Vikas Khanna’s journey is one of perseverance, craft and ambition. His story reflects the spirit at the heart of Stories Cast in Stone—a campaign that celebrates individuals who have become flag-bearers of their respective industries and art forms, transforming their talent and passion into enduring legacies.
In the campaign film, Khanna brings this journey to life while exploring his enduring relationship with food and his desire to showcase Indian cuisine to the world. The film also marks the introduction of Specta’s Krest Collection, with the first slab being put to the test by the MasterChef himself. The collaboration draws a parallel between Khanna’s approach to culinary craft and Specta’s philosophy of surface design and manufacturing. Just as Khanna has continued to experiment, refine and reinterpret Indian cuisine for the world, Specta’s Krest Collection represents the brand’s focus on pushing the boundaries of engineered quartz through advanced technology and design.
Commenting on the collaboration, Ankit Jain, Founder, Specta Quartz Surfaces, said,
“Vikas Khanna’s journey is exactly the kind of story that Stories Cast in Stone was created to celebrate. His rise from humble beginnings to becoming a Michelin Star Chef representing Indian culinary excellence on the global stage is a story of the pursuit of excellence. Making him the face of our campaign to introduce the Krest Collection creates a meaningful connection between his approach to his craft and our own pursuit of innovation in quartz surfaces. With Krest, we are continuing to explore what technology can enable in engineered quartz while bringing new possibilities to the Indian market.”
The latest film builds on Specta’s Stories Cast in Stone campaign, which has previously featured creative and cultural voices including Masaba Gupta, Ranveer Brar, Joseph Radhik and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik.
Powered by Kreos technology, which Specta is pioneering in India, the Krest Collection is available in 12 mm thickness, offering a new format within the brand’s quartz portfolio. The collection reflects Specta’s continued investment in manufacturing and surface innovation, combining advanced production capabilities with designs intended for contemporary residential and commercial spaces.
