Vijayanagar, Aug 19: The Inspire Institute of Sport unveiled the Inspire Museum at its Vijayanagar campus on Independence Day, marking its eighth Foundation Day with a tribute to the athletes, coaches and sporting journeys that have shaped the institute over the years. The Inspire Museum celebrates IIS’ journey so far while offering visitors a glimpse into the achievements, milestones and stories behind the athletes who have trained and grown at the institute.

Inspire Institute of Sport Unveils Inspire Museum on Eight Years of Sporting Excellence

The Inspire Museum brings together the story of India’s journey through the Olympics, India’s inspiring champions along with personal sporting memorabilia from legendary athletes who have represented and championed the tricolour at the highest echelons of sport.

Adding an engaging element to the experience, the Inspire Museum also features interactive screens and kiosks showcasing IIS, its programmes, facilities and wider campus ecosystem, allowing visitors to explore the IIS’ approach to athlete development and high-performance systems, along with the people and moments behind IIS’ sporting achievements.

The unveiling of the museum on Independence Day marked IIS’ eighth Foundation Day and brought together the athletes, achievements and milestones that have been part of the IIS story so far. As IIS enters its ninth year, the Inspire Museum will continue to serve as a record of its sporting history, while looking ahead to the athletes and achievements that will shape its next chapter.
