Aug 18: This Onam, Dakshin at ITC Windsor invites guests to experience the warmth, hospitality and abundance of Kerala through an authentic and indulgent Onam Sadhya. Set amidst the restaurant’s elegant Southern Indian décor and adorned with vibrant floral arrangements, the celebration captures the essence of Kerala’s most cherished harvest festival. Rooted in age-old traditions, the feast brings together family, friends and food in a memorable culinary journey.
The specially curated Sadhya showcases a rich repertoire of Kerala’s finest vegetarian delicacies. Guests can savour festive favourites such as Avial, Olan, Kurukku Kalan, Erissery, Kootu Curry, Kaithachakka Pulissery, Jeeraka Rasam and Murungakkai Sambar, accompanied by wholesome Kerala Matta Rice, traditional pickles, crisp Nendran Banana Chips, Pineapple and Beetroot Pachadi, Sharkara Upperi and Pappadam. Each preparation reflects the region’s vibrant flavours, culinary artistry and enduring traditions.
The experience culminates with classic festive desserts including Palada Pradhaman and Parippu Payasam, offering a sweet finale to a grand celebration of Kerala’s heritage, culture and togetherness.
