Chandigarh, Aug 17: Toyota Kirloskar Motor concluded the groundbreaking ceremony for an educational infrastructure development project at Karnataka Public School, Magadi. The initiative aims to create a modern, inclusive and student-friendly learning environment that provides quality education through infrastructure support  towards  better educational outcomes for children across the region.

The ceremony was attended by Shri. H. C. Balakrishna, Hon’ble Minister of Municipal Administration and District Incharge Bangalore South, Government of Karnataka , Shri. Ramesh Rao, Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, along with senior leadership from the company.

Karnataka Public School, Magadi, serves as a key learning institution for over 800 students from 10 neighbouring villages, supporting the educational aspirations across a community. Recognising the school’s important role in shaping future generations and growing together, Toyota Kirloskar Motor will construct additional classrooms, kitchen infrastructure and sanitation facilities for boys and girls, while providing classroom furniture and digital and practical learning resources to strengthen elementary education. This is expected to reduce the dropout rate among girl students, increase student enrolment and improve the pass percentage of Class 10 and Pre-University students. Over the long term, the initiative improve access to quality education and create opportunities for children to build a stronger future.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri. H. C. Balakrishna,  Minister of Municipal Administration and District Incharge Bangalore South , Government of Karnataka said,

“Schools are not just centres of learning; they are spaces where confidence is built, aspirations take shape and futures are created.
