The overall financial performance during the quarter was impacted primarily by the transitional phase in the State Government, including changes in the state leadership and delays in the allocation of cabinet portfolios, which resulted in delayed payments and limited new tender announcements.

PAT increased 22.59% to ₹111.68 million from ₹91.10 million, while PAT margin improved to 19.04% from 16.47%.
The improved sequential performance reflects a gradual recovery in execution momentum and operational efficiency. Commentingonthecompany’s performance during the quarter, Mr.C.MruthyunjayaSwamy, Chairman of DentaWater, said: “The first quarter witnessed a temporary moderation in the operating environment for Karnataka’s water infrastructure sector, primarily due to the transitional phase in the state government, which led to slower decision-making, delays in project approvals and payments, limited tender activity and slower project execution. These factors impacted our year-on-year financial performance during the quarter. However, the sequential improvement in revenue, EBITDA and PAT reflects a gradual recovery in execution momentum and operational efficiency. We believe these near-term challenges do not alter the strong long-term fundamentals of the water infrastructure sector or our growth trajectory, and we remain confident of delivering improved performance as operating conditions normalize.
During the quarter, we secured two new projects worth ₹655.66 million (Including GST), further strengthening our position in Karnataka’s irrigation and water infrastructure segment and providing healthy revenue visibility. With government decision-making and project approvals expected to normalise, we anticipate execution momentum to strengthen in the coming quarters. Supported by a healthy order book of ₹8508.96 million (Including new orders), strong engineering and execution capabilities, and a robust balance sheet, we remain well positioned to capture emerging opportunities in the water infrastructure sector and deliver sustainable long-term growth and value for our stakeholders.”
Order Book Strengthened with New Project Wins in July 2026
The Company secured two new projects with a combined value of approximately ₹655.63 million, strengthening its order book despite a challenging operating environment.
(1) The first order, valued at ₹208.92 million (including GST), was awarded by Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited (KNNL) for a turnkey irrigation infrastructure project involving the improvement of pickup canals, lift irrigation systems and associated infrastructure under the KMERC Grant in Ballari district, Karnataka, along with five years of operation and maintenance.
(2) The second order, valued at ₹446.74 million (including GST), is a subcontract from JNS Infra Projects Private Limited for the restoration and improvement of lift irrigation infrastructure, including pickup canals and MS pipeline works under the Jalibenchi Lift Irrigation Scheme in Ballari district. Both projects are scheduled for completion within 11 months, providing healthy execution visibility.
Looking ahead, Denta Water continues to pursue opportunities across irrigation, drinking water supply, wastewater management and groundwater recharge projects. With a strong order book, proven execution capabilities and expectations of improved tendering activity as administrative processes normalise, the Company remains well positioned to participate in India’s growing investment in water infrastructure.
