Competitive world has emerged as a mountainous challenge. Today, the young people frequently experience tremendous pressure to prove themselves. The desire to excel can spur development, but also leads to ongoing pressure that eventually sabotages their mental health.

“Mansik Shakti” initiative aims to bring forth the significance of positive mental health, relevance of a resilient mind and empathy.

Dr. Archika Didi said,

“Mansik Shakti is about transforming awareness into meaningful action. The young minds are the pillars of the future and hence they must have emotional strength, empathy and resilience to become a powerful positive change-makers.”

Connecting mental wellness with practical action was one of the key highlights of the event. The programme encouraged students to prioritise their emotional well-being, build resilience, manage pressure and develop a healthier perspective towards success and failure.

When youth are empowered to recognise their rights, value diversity, and take ownership of creating an inclusive society, true empowerment can begin. Initiatives like Mansik Shakti create the awareness and confidence needed to turn these values into action.

Ms. Neha Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police, SPUWAC shared her insights stating

“Mental agony can increase stress. Simple practices such as deep breathing, maintaining a regular sleep pattern is also important for mental well-being, getting adequate morning sunlight can support the body’s natural rhythm and help regulate cortisol levels.”

The aim of this program was to help the young people see their own potential, address their concerns, overcome obstacles with self-assurance, and build the emotional strength necessary to deal with a world.
