Delhivery Celebrates 80th Independence Day by Bringing 80 Unsung Stories of Courage to the Nation

Bengaluru, August 13, 2026: To mark India’s landmark 80th Independence Day, Delhivery, India’s largest fully integrated logistics provider, today announced the launch of its campaign, ‘Corners of Courage’. Looking beyond traditional symbols, Delhivery celebrates India through its roads, geography, and enduring spirit.

The campaign concept was born directly from the field. On a routine delivery route in a remote region, a Delhivery executive uncovered a forgotten story of local freedom fighters. What began as a chance discovery became the starting point for an epic journey across India, uncovering stories that have lived on in small towns, villages and communities, but have rarely found a place in the mainstream narrative of the freedom struggle.

From the Tamralipta Jatiya Sarkar (parallel government) in Tamluk, West Bengal, and the Vedaranyam Salt March in Tamil Nadu, to the tribal resistance at Mangarh in Rajasthan, the campaign brings together 80 stories that reflect the many forms that India’s freedom movement took across its diverse geographies.

“The stories for India’s struggle for freedom live far beyond the more popular names and places we know. As a company that moves through the length and breadth of the country every day, we have the privilege of discovering these remarkable stories from its many corners. Through ‘Corners of Courage’, we wanted to use our routes not just to move parcels, but to bring these stories of courage and sacrifice to a new generation,” said Mohammed Ali, Senior Vice President & Head of Marketing at Delhivery.

As part of the campaign, collectible physical postcards featuring these stories will accompany parcels delivered during the Independence Day week across India. Each postcard will spotlight an unsung story from a different part of India and carry a QR code that takes recipients to the campaign’s digital collection that houses all 80 stories, enabling audiences to explore the stories geographically and discover the people and movements behind them. The platform also provides the audience a chance to bring forth more such forgotten tales of valour from their own neighbourhoods. Together, the physical postcards and the digital experience turn Independence Day into an invitation to discover the lesser-known corners that contributed to India’s freedom.

The campaign is live across Delhivery’s social media platforms and digital channels.
