New Delhi / Noida, Aug 13: Megmeet Electrical India Private Limited and Mediways Health Foundation have entered into a strategic CSR partnership to implement the “Comprehensive Preventive Health Outreach & Surgical Support” initiative in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
The collaboration brings together Megmeet Electrical India’s corporate social responsibility commitment and Mediways Health Foundation’s community-health implementation capabilities to strengthen access to preventive healthcare, early detection, patient navigation and timely clinical intervention for women.
The partnership has been structured around a fundamental public-health challenge: access to screening alone does not necessarily translate into improved health outcomes.
Across community healthcare programmes, the more difficult journey often begins after screening—when an individual needs to understand an abnormal finding, access an appropriate medical consultation, navigate referral pathways and, where clinically required, reach definitive treatment.
The initiative therefore seeks to move beyond the conventional episodic health-camp model by creating a more connected prevention-to-intervention pathway.
Under the programme, Mediways Health Foundation will undertake community-facing preventive-health activities with an emphasis on health awareness and appropriate screening. The Foundation’s wider healthcare approach includes modalities such as mammography and Pap/HPV screening, supported by patient navigation and facilitation of access to timely medical and surgical intervention wherever clinically indicated.
The model is built around four interconnected stages:
Awareness — improving understanding of preventive healthcare and encouraging timely health-seeking behaviour.
Detection — facilitating appropriate screening and early identification of potential health concerns.
Navigation — helping beneficiaries understand subsequent clinical requirements and connect with appropriate healthcare pathways.
Intervention — facilitating access to further medical or surgical care where indicated following proper clinical evaluation.
The approach reflects an emerging shift in community healthcare: from counting activities to measuring whether people are actually able to move through the healthcare system.
For CSR-led health interventions, this distinction is increasingly important. The impact of a programme cannot be assessed only through the number of camps organised, people reached or screenings conducted. Equally important is what happens after detection—whether individuals requiring further evaluation receive appropriate referral, whether patients are able to navigate fragmented healthcare pathways, and whether the intervention ultimately contributes to a measurable health outcome.
Gautam Buddha Nagar will serve as the implementation geography for the programme, with the partnership seeking to establish a structured community-health pathway within the district.

The programme will be implemented in accordance with the framework and responsibilities set out under the CSR partnership agreement between the two organisations.
