Bengaluru, 12 August 2026: Ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day, Mudrex has launched “India Ka Breakout,” a campaign that reimagines the nation’s road to freedom through the lens of a trading chart.

The campaign visualises 190 years of Indian history, from the Battle of Plassey in 1757 to Independence in 1947, as a candlestick chart, with each resistance level, read as colonial setbacks, and rally, read as movements like Non-Cooperation and the Quit India movement, building toward the ultimate breakout on 15th August 1947.

The idea builds on the concept of breakouts from the share market, which happens when prices finally push through a level that has held it back for years, unlocking a new trend. Mudrex’s campaign looks at India’s freedom struggle through the same patterns, with decades of consolidation and resistance culminating in one defining move.

The campaign also turns that lens on the present. Where access to markets, savings instruments, and global assets was once tightly restricted for ordinary Indians, today’s retail investor can diversify into global equities, commodities, and crypto from a phone.

Mudrex frames this shift from a financial system with limited access to one where global markets are a few taps away as trading’s own version of a breakout.”Independence in 1947 was India’s breakout from a system designed to hold it back. Indian households have long treated the rupee as the default place to store wealth. Today’s investment and trading tools have made global markets accessible for Indians that simply wasn’t possible a generation ago. We see this as the next breakout toward a stronger financial foundation for Indian households, built on informed access to global markets,” said Prateek Gupta, Head of Business, Mudrex.
