Aug 10: StudyIn, a leading global higher education consultancy, announced that Indian students it supported have collectively secured scholarships worth approximately ₹125 crore for the September 2025 and January 2026 intakes. The milestone spans visa-approved students across the UK, Ireland, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada, reaffirming StudyIn’s role in making world-class education more accessible and affordable for Indian students.
Of the total value, the United Kingdom accounted for the lion’s share, with StudyIn’s India Direct students receiving scholarships worth over £9 million (INR 90 Cr/approximately USD 12 million). Ireland, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada rounded out the remaining destinations, taking the combined scholarship pool to nearly £10 million, or close to USD 13 million (INR 100 Cr), at current exchange rates.
Among the scholarships secured by StudyIn-supported students were awards worth up to £15,000, alongside several prestigious merit-based scholarships ranging from £5,000 to £10,000, including full and partial tuition fee waivers. These scholarships reflect the strong academic profiles of Indian students and the growing availability of financial support for international education.
This achievement comes at a time when Indian students continue to represent one of the largest and fastest-growing groups of international applicants worldwide. The UK continues to remain the leading destination for scholarship recipients, StudyIn is also witnessing a significant rise in student interest towards European and Asian destinations, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. This shift reflects changing student preferences driven by affordability, evolving visa policies, post-study work opportunities, and strong career outcomes. StudyIn is actively supporting students in identifying and securing scholarship opportunities across these emerging destinations as well.
By helping students identify the right scholarship opportunities and build compelling applications, StudyIn has played a direct role in easing the financial burden of overseas education for hundreds of families.
