Aug 10: Paytm Payments Services Limited , a wholly-owned subsidiary of One 97 Communications Limited, has integrated Paytm Payment Gateway with Anthropic’s Claude via MCP Connector. The integration helps businesses securely access authorised payment information, including transactions, payment links, refunds, settlements, subscriptions, order status and reconciliation details, through AI prompts.
Entrepreneurs, finance teams, support teams and developers can access relevant payment details through a conversational AI interface instead of moving across multiple dashboard pages, reports or API calls. This helps reduce manual effort, lower internal follow ups and speed up reconciliation.
Built on the Model Context Protocol standard, the integration enables secure connectivity between Claude and Paytm Payment Gateway APIs. Businesses connect their merchant account through secure authentication and retain control over access, while payment information is shared only through authorised permissions. Payment execution, refunds and settlements continue through merchant-controlled processes on PPSL’s trusted infrastructure.
