KCG College of Technology Honours 560 Graduands at 24th Graduation Ceremony

Chennai, Aug 10: KCG College of Technology conferred degrees on 560 graduands across its Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD programmes at its 24th Graduation Day ceremony that took place at its college premises today.

Dr J Radhakrishnan, Director General, Anna Institute of Management and Training, Tamil Nadu, graced the event as chief guest, while M Vellaipandian, Director General, Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, attended the event as guest of honour.

For the 2025 graduating batch, the college recorded a 94% placement rate, with the placement drive reflecting the institution’s sustained engagement with industry. The college achieved 100% placement across core branches including Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). More than 150 leading recruiters, including Airbus, Boeing, Bosch, Accenture, Cisco, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, Siemens, and L&T Technology Services, extended over 400 offers, with the highest salary package reaching Rs 11.3 lakh per annum (LPA).

Addressing the gathering, Radhakrishnan said, “KCG Tech’s true legacy lies in the many lives it has nurtured. Students should understand what they learn, persevere, work as a team and remain lifelong learners. Learning never stops. Artificial Intelligence is the next major transformation after computers and graduands should see technology as an opportunity to learn, innovate and grow. Students should embrace both success and failure, learn from setbacks and move forward. Education will be the passport and skills will be the visa to better opportunities.  At the same time, never forget your parents, elders and friends whose sacrifices supported your journey.”

M Vellaipandian said, “graduands should take pride in KCG Tech’s legacy and make full use of its resources and opportunities. Opportunity brings responsibility to choose the right path, pursue global excellence and serve society and humanity. Hard work, perseverance, humility and lifelong learning are the foundations of success, particularly in a rapidly changing technological world.”
