July 25: On the occasion of World IVF Day, BSV, a Mankind Group Company and a leader in fertility treatments, reaffirmed its commitment towards combining deep scientifically driven treatments with awareness & education initiatives that focus on fertility as an integral part of reproductive health. Driving the message of seeking timely fertility evaluation, recognising that early intervention can improve treatment outcomes, BSV has launched the #find your missing joy campaign- a film that aims to create awareness among infertile couples on the need to have medical conversations with qualified fertility experts, in their journey of finding their missing joy of parenthood.
According to the WHO, roughly 1 in 6 adults worldwide experience infertility1. In India, clinical estimates indicate that this affects between 15 million and 20 million couples, many of whom delay seeking timely medical evaluation. This massive gap is primarily driven by a lack of awareness and access to treatment options and deeply entrenched social stigma. In India, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare recognises infertility as an important reproductive health concern, and through the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, has strengthened the country’s regulatory framework to promote safe, ethical and quality fertility care. Complementing this, the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), in collaboration with UNFPA India, advocates integrating pre-conception care into routine healthcare to encourage informed reproductive planning.2
Over the past four decades, In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) has transformed reproductive medicine, offering hope to millions of families worldwide.1 Experts emphasise that timely consultation and fertility evaluation enables early identification of conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, diminished ovarian reserve, blocked fallopian tubes and male-factor infertility, enabling personalised treatment plans and giving couples access to the full spectrum of appropriate fertility solutions, including IVF- at the right time.
Highlighting BSV’s brand equity and market footprint in fertility treatment, Sivani Sarma Deka, COO- India Business BSV, stated “As a market leader in women’s health and Assisted Reproductive Technology, BSV has spent decades earning the trust of clinicians and families alike by consistently delivering scientifically recognized, world class quality treatments that are second to none. While our focus remains on providing patients with cutting-edge research, we stand committed to our goal of democratizing access to these advanced reproductive care solutions. On World IVF Day, BSV celebrates the incredible medical advancements in fertility care and continues its mission to normalize conversations around fertility. Through the latest #findyourmissingjoy campaign, we endeavour to expand scientific awareness and begin open conversations that address social stigmas. BSV continues to remain a trusted partner in the parenthood journey of couples and is committed to making advanced reproductive care a real, attainable path to parenthood for every aspiring family.”
Recognizing that infertility is a medical condition that can affect both men and women alike, BSV is continually driving educational and awareness driven initiatives that bust myths and encourages couples to seek timely medical guidance and intervention from qualified healthcare practitioners. Through its patient-first approach, BSV continues to collaborate and partner with IVF clinics in widening access to cutting-edge scientific innovation and ensuring that advanced treatments are accessible to couples across diverse demographics.
