
Chandigarh, 13th July: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today organized the groundbreaking ceremony for an educational infrastructure development project at Karnataka Public School, Nagavalli, in Tumakuru Rural Taluk. The initiative aligns with the company’s efforts to provide quality education to all through quality infrastructure and improving the overall learning experience by creating modern, accessible and student-friendly educational spaces.
The ceremony was graced by Shri. V. Somanna, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways & Jal Shakti, Government of India, Shri. Suresh Gowda, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Tumakuru, and Shri. A Ramesh Rao, Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, along with other senior company representatives.
Karnataka Public School, Nagavalli serves as an important learning institution for more than 1,200 students annually from 20 surrounding villages. The school offers education from LKG to II PUC in both Kannada and English medium. With increasing student enrollment, expanding the school’s infrastructure has become essential to ensure a safe, comfortable, and engaging learning environment. To address this need, TKM will construct additional classrooms with quality furniture and enhance the school’s educational ecosystem through digital learning facilities and practical learning resources. The proposed infrastructure will create a more conducive learning environment and strengthen elementary education through a child-centered, community-oriented approach.

Upon completion, the initiative is expected to provide adequate infrastructure to accommodate the school’s entire student strength. It is also expected to increase student enrolment by nearly 25%, while supporting improved academic outcomes with a target of achieving a 95% SSLC and PUC pass rate.
