July 13: On the auspicious occasion of the 129th Birth Anniversary of the legendary maestro of Indian Classical Music, Pandit Omkarnath Thakur, Swar Samarpan organized a grand seven-day musical tribute series (Swaranjali Series).
During this special celebration, talented students from different age groups paid their heartfelt musical homage to Pt. Omkarnath Thakur through soulful performances in various Indian classical ragas. Their presentations reflected deep devotion, dedication, and sincere respect for the rich tradition of Indian classical music.
The event beautifully showcased the timeless Guru–Shishya Parampara. Every student demonstrated remarkable discipline, regular practice , and a profound commitment to preserving India’s rich musical heritage.
This prestigious musical event was conducted under the guidance and direction of Acharya Abhimanyu. The primary objective of the programme was to inspire the younger generation to develop a deeper appreciation, cultural values, and lifelong dedication toward Indian Classical Music.
The programme also received valuable support from Guru Swapnarani Ji. Distinguished performers including Suhashini Janeja, Shubham Mohapatra, Pehl Agarwal , Somshuvro Haldar, Yahvi Shah, Anika Haritash, Meher Jain, and Naisha Sinha, along with several other talented artists, captivated the audience with their outstanding performances.
