NEW YORK, July 9 — Graycliff Partners LP announced today that its portfolio company Vytex, a manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors for the residential replacement and remodeling industry, has acquired Vinyl Kraft. The combination creates a diversified window and door manufacturing platform spanning the East Coast and Midwestern United States.

Vytex, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Laurel, MD, serves the residential replacement and remodeling market through a dealer-direct sales channel across the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast with the ability to produce more than 200,000 windows and doors annually.

Vinyl Kraft, based in New Boston, Ohio, manufactures vinyl windows and doors, primarily serving the residential replacement and remodeling industry through both traditional distribution and dealer-direct sales channels. Founded in 1991, Vinyl Kraft manufactures over 100,000 windows and doors annually.

“This acquisition marks a defining step in Vytex’s growth,” said Adam Weinrub, CEO of Vytex. “Vinyl Kraft’s well-known brand and Midwest manufacturing base round out our footprint and open new sales channels alongside our existing ones. Together, we’re positioned to give customers a deeper product lineup and a higher level of service.”

“Vytex has earned a strong name in the window industry, and bringing our two companies together gives our combined customer base a wider range of products, with no change to the reliability, service, and unmatched lead times that Vinyl Kraft customers count on,” said Ryan Rolfe, President of Vinyl Kraft. “I’m looking forward to working alongside the Vytex team to expand our business geographically and through the introduction of new products.”

With more than 70 years of combined industry experience, Vytex and Vinyl Kraft together form a larger, more diversified window and door manufacturing platform, serving a broader base of customers throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Northeast. Vinyl Kraft is the first acquisition for Vytex under Graycliff ownership. Vytex remains interested in expanding its geographic reach and product portfolio, both organically and through acquisition.
