PhonePe Elevates Srijon Biswas to Chief Technology Officer

 

July 08: PhonePe, announced the appointment of Srijon Biswas as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his new role, Srijon will lead PhonePe’s engineering organization. Srijon has been a key pillar of PhonePe’s technology journey over the past several years, leading engineering across multiple teams and playing a central role in building one of the strongest engineering organizations in the country, as the company has scaled to serve hundreds of millions of users. In his new role, he will continue to report to Rahul Chari, Co-founder of PhonePe

As part of a broader evolution of leadership responsibilities, Co-founder Rahul Chari will assume the role of CPTO and will continue to oversee the Technology and Product functions, in addition to Trust & Safety, Data Sciences & Analytics, and Customer Experience, while leading other strategic initiatives across the PhonePe Group.
