June 24: Prestige University Indore’s MBA curriculum has become the first university marketing curriculum in India to receive accreditation from the International Advertising Association (IAA), New York one of the world’s leading industry bodies representing advertisers, agencies, media organizations, and marketing professionals worldwide.
Granted through the IAA’s Education Council, the accreditation recognises a curriculum that combines conceptual depth with contemporary industry relevance across consumer behaviour, branding, marketing communications, analytics, digital marketing, and the application of AI. Students who complete the prescribed requirements are eligible to receive an IAA Diploma in Marketing Communications in addition to their MBA degree.
“The marketing profession continues to evolve at the intersection of analytics, technology, communication, and creativity,” said Prof. Keyoor Purani, Vice Chancellor, Prestige University Indore. “A curriculum that earns recognition from a global industry body is one that has been tested against contemporary professional standards, not only academic ones. That alignment between academic rigour and industry relevance is what prepares graduates to contribute from the day they enter the profession.”
The accreditation is consistent with the University’s broader approach to programme design, which treats curriculum structure and industry relevance as a deliberate response to the gap between what graduates learn and what employers increasingly expect.
