June 19 : Celebrated sculptor Shri Naresh Kumar Kumawat has achieved yet another milestone from the international grounds for his distinguished body of work with the installation of a 6-foot bronze statue of Swami Vivekananda at the Consulate General of India in Chicago, USA.

Shri Kumawat Ji meticulously designed and crafted this statue, which pays tribute to one of India’s most revered spiritual leaders and thinkers, who espoused the message of universal brotherhood and human upliftment. Swami Vivekananda’s ideologies inspire generations to this day, which is what makes this achievement even more significant. The installation at the Consulate is even more notable, as Chicago is the city where Swami Vivekananda delivered his historic address at the Parliament of Religions in 1893. He introduced India’s spiritual heritage to a global audience.

The bronze sculpture was made using a combination of traditional sculptural methods and modern techniques that incorporate the magnificent cultural heritage of Indian craftsmanship perfectly. The artist has created numerous monumental sculptures, public artworks, and heritage installations in India, as well as in more than 80 other countries worldwide.
