Delhi, June 19: As healthcare systems move towards AI-led, data-driven and human-centred models, the Continuing Education Programme (CEP), IIT Delhi, has announced admissions for Batch 03 of its Executive Programme in Healthcare for Industry 5.0.

Applications for the programme will close on June 30, 2026. The six-month live online programme will begin on August 22, 2026.

The announcement comes as India’s digital health market continues to expand rapidly, with the market estimated at USD 14.50 billion in 2024 and projected to reach USD 106.97 billion by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 25.12 per cent from 2025 to 2033. Growth is being driven by the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, telemedicine, digital health records and technology-enabled healthcare delivery.

●       Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or Medical fields, including MBBS, Pharmacy, Nursing, BDS or equivalent, with at least 50 per cent marks or 5.0 CGPA

●       Certification: e-Certificate of Successful Completion by CEP, IIT Delhi, subject to applicable criteria

●       Service provider: Jaro Education

The curriculum includes healthcare fundamentals, operations management, pharmaceuticals and drug delivery, big data analytics, Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0 for healthcare, risk management, regulatory approvals and a capstone project. Participants will also explore applications of AI, machine learning, robotics, cobotics, AR/VR, IoT, cloud computing, additive manufacturing and blockchain in healthcare systems.

“Healthcare can no longer look at technology as an external layer. The next shift will come from professionals who can combine clinical understanding, engineering thinking and intelligent systems to improve patient outcomes, safety and efficiency. Industry 5.0 is about placing human expertise at the centre of this transformation,” said Prof. Dinesh Kalyanasundaram, Programme Coordinator and Associate Professor, Centre for Biomedical Engineering, IIT Delhi.

The programme is designed for healthcare, MedTech, hospital, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, operations and allied-sector professionals. Applications close on June 30, 2026.
