New Delhi, Dec 23: Rolu Diwas 2025, marking the 17th anniversary of the founding struggle of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha at Rolu Mandir in Namchi, was observed on December 21, 2025. The occasion coincided with the auspicious Losoong festival and was marked by a special puja conducted for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of Sikkim. The celebrations were kept simple and solemn, with a focus on prayers and the launch of the SKM New Year calendar and diary. Party cadres and members of the public were invited to participate in the sacred rituals at Rolu Mandir.

While addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister reflected on the vital role played by sacred institutions across Sikkim in protecting and guiding the people throughout their collective journey, even during periods of immense hardship and adversity. He noted that their spiritual strength has been a constant source of resilience, faith, and hope for society.
The Chief Minister paid heartfelt tribute to the krantikari friends, whose sacrifices and invaluable contributions laid the foundation for the progress witnessed today. He emphasized that their courage, commitment, and selfless service must never be forgotten.
He reiterated that the schemes and initiatives undertaken by the government are firmly rooted in inclusive and people-centric development. These efforts focus on providing free education to deserving and underprivileged students, as well as extending medical assistance to the poor and needy, ensuring that no one is left behind.
Urging everyone to remain humble, grounded, and closely connected to the people, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of Mission 2029, strengthening the party at the grassroots level, expanding its presence on the ground, and continuing to serve the people with sincerity, dedication, and unwavering commitment.
