IIM Lucknow Opens Unique Dual-Degree Opportunity for 10 Plus 2 Graduates in AI, Business Analytics and Management

Lucknow, June 11: Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has announced the launch of its Bachelor of Science (BS) in Artificial Intelligence & Business Analytics programme, designed specifically for young higher secondary graduates.

Reflecting IIM Lucknow’s commitment to advancing artificial intelligence education and creating socially impactful technology solutions aligned with national priorities and global standards, this initiative extends beyond conventional academic programs and aims to develop future-ready professionals equipped to lead in an AI-driven world.

Applications are invited from Indian candidates who have:

·         successfully completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2025 or 2026 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects,

·         qualified JEE Advanced.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early and ensure they meet all the eligibility requirements.

Speaking about the programme, Prof. M. P. Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow, said, “Through this programme, we’re opening doors for aspiring young intermediate pass-outs. In a historic first for a management institute, admissions for aspiring prodigies will be determined by JEE Advanced. I welcome a new breed of talent and future nation builders to a beautiful place where opportunities abound, and future endeavours thrive.” 

A unique feature of this programme is the opportunity for students to transition to the Tech-MBA programme (scheduled to commence in 2027–28) after completing the third year of the BS programme. This pathway will enable eligible students to convert their studies into an integrated dual–degree programme at IIM Lucknow. 

Speaking about the inaugural batch of the program, Prof. Pradeep Kumar, Chairperson Admissions, IIM Lucknow, said, “We aim to attract top talent in the country by offering admission exclusively to top performers in JEE Advanced. In its inaugural batch, the programme will admit 60 students.”

Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance and JEE Advanced qualifying score. It is notable that a relaxation of 5% marks shall be applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories as per the Government of India norms.
