New Delhi, May 27 : Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang met Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai Ji this morning ahead of her assumption of office as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Sikkim, he extended heartiest congratulations and best wishes on her well-deserved elevation.
Justice Rai’s appointment marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first lady Judge from Sikkim to attain the distinguished position of Chief Justice. Describing the achievement as a matter of immense pride and honour for the State, the Chief Minister lauded her dedication, integrity, and distinguished service to the judiciary.
He further expressed confidence that under her leadership, the Patna High Court would continue to uphold the highest traditions of justice and constitutional values. The Chief Minister wished her a successful and exemplary tenure ahead.
