May 27 : The ongoing heatwave and rising temperatures have made daily life increasingly difficult for the general public. Those working under the open sky, particularly daily wage earners, have been the worst affected. In such challenging times, ICCPL Foundation, the CSR arm of ICCPL Group stepped directly onto the frontlines of community relief.

ICCPL Foundation Extends Relief Amid Scorching Heat, Distributes Cold Beverages to the Needy

Under its CSR campaign “Rahat with ICCPL”, the foundation undertook a Thirst Relief Initiative to provide immediate relief to vulnerable communities. As part of the initiative, cold beverages were distributed to daily wage labourers, construction workers, rickshaw pullers, and underprivileged children across multiple locations in Noida, including Sectors 62, 63, and 59, as well as Indirapuram and Vaishali in Ghaziabad.

The ICCPL Foundation team reached out to various labour hubs, construction sites, public spaces, and high-footfall areas to distribute relief materials. The primary objective of the campaign was to help people stay hydrated during extreme heat conditions and offer them immediate respite. Beneficiaries appreciated the initiative, noting that even small acts of support can provide significant comfort during such harsh weather.

Ambika Saxena, CEO of ICCPL Foundation, said,

“The impact of extreme heat is most severe on those who work outdoors throughout the day. Through our ‘Rahat with ICCPL’ campaign, we aim to provide immediate relief to such individuals so they can cope better with the harsh conditions. We believe that social responsibility goes beyond awareness—it is equally important to extend direct support when it is needed the most. We look forward to continuing similar relief and support initiatives in the future to ensure timely assistance reaches vulnerable communities.”

ICCPL Foundation has been actively working for the past three years to support underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society, especially children. The Foundation also aligns its efforts with key government initiatives such as “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao”, “Padhega India, Badhega India”’, and “Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan”. Through these initiatives, ICCPL Foundation remains committed to driving positive social change and standing firmly with those in need.
