Bengaluru, May 26: GITAM  has announced admissions to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the Bengaluru campus for the academic year 2026–27.GITAM Bengaluru Opens Admissions 2026–27 for UG and PG Programmes

 For this academic year, students can secure direct admissions and scholarships based on Intermediate/Class 12 marks for UG programmes.

Students also have the opportunity to avail up to 100% scholarships covering tuition fees, food, and accommodation by qualifying the GITAM Admission Test (GAT-2026), scheduled to be held on 14 June 2026 across India. The last date to apply is 12 June 2026.

The GITAM Admission Test (GAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by GITAM Deemed to be University for admissions across its campuses. The examination will be held in online mode and is open to students nationwide. Candidates with high scores in JEE, CUET, CAT, or other recognised national and state-level entrance examinations are also eligible to apply directly without appearing for GAT. More than 150+ recruiters such as Oracle, JTP, OpenText, Deloitte hire students from the Bengaluru campus in various domains across from the school of Computer Science & Engineering, Core Engineering, School Of Business and School Of Science.

The Bengaluru Campus is home to four schools, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across multiple disciplines.

GITAM School of Technology:

  • UG Programmes:
    • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
    • B.Tech in CSE with specialisations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML)
    • B.Tech in CSE – Data Science (B.Tech CSE (DS)
    • B.Tech in CSE – Cyber Security (B.Tech. CSE (Cyber Security)
    • B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
    • B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (ME)
    • B.Tech in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (RAI)
  • PG Programmes:
    • M.Tech in Data Science (M.Tech (DS))
    • M.tech in Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI)

GITAM School of Science:

  • UG Programmes: In core sciences, three and Four-year B.Sc programs (Honours with research exposure) in Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, Mathematics and Chemistry. In Computer Science, three-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and four-year BCA (Honors) programmes.
  • PG Programmes: In core sciences, two-year M.Sc. programmes with research exposure in Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology and Chemistry. In Computer Science, two-year MCA programme.

GITAM School of Business:

  • The school offers flagship UG programs such as BBA & BBA Financial Markets in association with National Stock Exchange, aimed at developing managerial and analytical competencies among students.
  • At the postgraduate level, Gitam School of Business offers MBA programs with contemporary specializations and four distinctive immersion tracks – International Immersion, Research Immersion, Industry Immersion, and Entrepreneurial Immersion, enabling students to gain experiential exposure aligned with their career aspirations.

GITAM School of Humanities and Social Sciences

Undergraduate Programmes:

  • B.A. programmes with majors in:
    • Psychology
    • Economics
    • Political Science

Scholarships and Financial Support:

GITAM offers merit-based scholarships of up to 100% on tuition fees for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, based on performance in GAT 2026 and other recognised entrance examinations. Students are encouraged to apply early to avail these scholarship opportunities and secure admissions.
