Greater Noida, May 21: Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences  College & Hospital is set to organize THALCARE SUMMIT 2026 CME on May 22, 2026, focusing on the critical theme “Thalassemia: Challenges in Diagnosis & Management.” The Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is being organized jointly by the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Pathology at NIIMS, Greater Noida, to enhance awareness, strengthen clinical understanding, and discuss the latest advancements in the diagnosis and management of thalassemia.

The summit will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the NIIMS campus in Greater Noida and is expected to bring together renowned healthcare professionals, medical experts, academicians, researchers, and students for meaningful discussions on one of the most significant inherited blood disorders affecting children and adults globally. The CME aims to address the evolving challenges in timely diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, genetic counseling, and long-term disease management associated with thalassemia. Through expert-led sessions and scientific deliberations, participants will gain insights into emerging medical practices and collaborative approaches to improve patient outcomes.

The event will be organized under the leadership of Chief Patron Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman of Noida International University, and Co-Patron Dr. S.N. Gupta, Director of NIIMS, Greater Noida. The summit conveners include Dr. (Brig) Ranjit Ghuliani, MS, NIIMS Hospital, and Dr. Manisha Jindal, Dean of NIIMS.

The organizing chairpersons for the event are Dr. (Col) Arun Chaudhary and Dr. Amit Modi, while the organizing secretaries are Dr. Vertika Gupta and Dr. Avinash Jha. Online registrations for the CME will remain open until May 22, 2026.
