India,  May 18 : The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has officially welcomed the Leela Leadership Development Programme (LLDP) – Class of 2027, reaffirming its long-term commitment to nurturing future-ready leaders for India’s luxury hospitality industry. The LLDP Class of 2027 comprises 45 carefully selected management trainees from leading hospitality institutes including IHM, IIHM and ISH, alongside talent from competitive luxury hotel chains. Reflecting The Leela’s commitment to building an inclusive and diverse workforce, the cohort includes 53% female representation. The batch also represents a balanced mix of internal and external talent, with 21 associates from within The Leela ecosystem and 24 candidates joining from outside the organisation.

Marking the beginning of a transformative leadership journey, The Leela hosted a specially curated induction experience for its newest cohort, bringing together senior leadership, associates and parents of the selected candidates. Rooted in The Leela’s guiding philosophy of “Atithi Devo Bhava – Guest is God”, the event commenced with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, followed by a welcome address by the CEO and interactions with the leadership team, including the CFO and Senior Vice Presidents. The inclusion of parents in the ceremony reflected The Leela’s associate-first culture and its belief that strong support systems play an integral role in shaping meaningful career journeys.

Participants of the programme will undergo a holistic 15-month development journey that includes classroom learning, online modules, immersive boot camps and on-the-job exposure across multiple Leela hotels. The programme culminates with a capstone project and certification from ISH in alliance with Les Roches.
