Delhi, May 12: At a time when Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping how businesses operate and compete, Pearl Academy School of Business (PSB) has announced the launch of two new flagship programmes, an MBA and a BBA in AI for Business, developed in structured knowledge partnership with EY India, a global Big 4 consulting firm. The programmes are designed to prepare a new generation of business leaders who can apply AI to real-world decision-making, rather than merely understand it as a technology

Unlike conventional AI or analytics programmes, which are often technical or coding-focused, these programmes are industry-oriented and industry-agnostic, requiring no prior coding expertise. The new programmes position AI as a core business capability, embedded across functions and sectors.   The programmes aim to equip students to apply AI across domains such as marketing, finance, operations, consulting, and strategy, making them relevant across industries including BFSI, retail, healthcare, telecom, manufacturing, and startups.

Commenting on the launch, Amod Vijayvargiya, Director, Pearl Academy School of Business, said, “The future of business leadership lies not in simply understanding AI, but in applying it meaningfully to solve complex problems. These programmes are designed to bridge the gap between technology and business decision-making. Our partnership with EY ensures that students engage with real-world challenges from day one, developing the ability to think strategically, act ethically, and lead confidently in an AI-driven world. The programmes also build on our unique ‘CXOs in the Classroom’ approach, bringing industry and consulting leaders into the learning experience to share how AI is actively reshaping businesses.”

With deep industry integration, practitioners from EY India will contribute to curriculum design and deliver over 300+ hours of curriculum-integrated teaching in the MBA programme and 200+ hours in the BBA. This includes AI tools and platforms training, live case workshops, industry problem-solving labs, and an AI consulting simulation. The programme culminates in a live AI industry capstone project, where students work on real business challenges, providing a practical demonstration of job readiness.

Md. Furqan Warsi, Partner, FAAS, EY India said “As AI adoption scales across industries, the real challenge is not access to technology but the availability of talent that can translate it into business outcomes. Organisations today need professionals who can bridge strategy, operations, and AI-led decision-making. Our collaboration with Pearl School of Business is focused on building this capability through a practice-led learning approach, creating a talent pool that is aligned with evolving industry needs.”

The learning experience is further strengthened through Pearl Academy’s collaboration with OpenAI, enabling students to work with advanced AI tools and frameworks that are shaping the future of business. This integration is part of a broader institutional push to embed AI across disciplines through Pearl’s AI Studio.

The degrees will be offered in affiliation with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), ensuring academic rigour alongside industry relevance. Students will also receive certificates from EY India, further strengthening their professional credentials.

The programmes are also uniquely aligned with the needs of India’s rapidly expanding creative economy, where AI is increasingly transforming sectors such as retail, fashion, content, and consumer experience. By combining Pearl Academy’s 33-year legacy in design thinking with AI-driven business education, the programmes aim to develop professionals who can approach problem-solving with both analytical rigour and creative insight.

The MBA in AI for Business is a two-year programme structured across four semesters, progressing from foundational management and AI literacy to advanced application and industry immersion. The BBA programme extends the same philosophy to undergraduate learners, building future-ready capabilities early in their academic journey. The pedagogy combines case-based learning, problem-solving, AI simulations, and consulting-style project work, mentored by CXOs and faculty with deep AI expertise, ensuring students learn through application rather than theory alone. Graduates will be equipped for roles across AI strategy and digital transformation, business analytics and intelligence, generative AI and innovation, operations and supply chain, and AI governance and risk.

Both programmes will be offered exclusively at Pearl Academy School of Business in Delhi South. Prospective students and institutional partners seeking further information may visit https://www.pearlacademy.com/programs/business  or contact the admissions office directly.
