Sony SAB’s Yaadein continues to keep viewers invested with its emotionally rich narrative and layered character journeys. Adding another interesting turn to the ongoing storyline, veteran actress Delnaaz Irani is all set to make a special appearance in the show.
Known for her memorable performances and vibrant screen presence, Delnaaz’s entry as Chandini is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the narrative. Once adored by millions, her character Chandni continues to live in her world of fame, glamour, and admiration. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is admitted to the hospital as a patient and insists on being treated only by Dr Dev, whom she remembers as the finest doctor she once trusted completely. However, what Chandni doesn’t know is that Dr Dev is no longer the doctor he used to be after losing his memory and stepping away from his profession. Her arrival brings emotional conflict, hidden truths, and a challenging situation for Dr Dev.
Talking about her role, Delnaaz Irani said, “What I love the most about Chandni is that she is dramatic, glamorous, emotional, and vulnerable all at once. She believes she is still the superstar everyone is obsessed with, which makes her both entertaining and heartbreaking at the same time. Working with Iqbal Khan is truly special for me, he is one of those actors who is extremely effortless and sincere in his performance, and he brings so much honesty to every scene. We have some intense scenes together in the show, but off camera we end up laughing between takes. It feels wonderful being a part of such a show and I think audiences will really enjoy the dynamic between Dr Dev and Chandni.”
