DPS Sector 45 Gurgaon Celebrates Scholar Badge & Investiture Ceremony 2026

Gurgaon, May 08: Delhi Public School Sector 45 Gurgaon celebrated the Class XII Scholar Badge & Investiture Ceremony, recognising outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, and sports. The ceremony also acknowledged the remarkable accomplishments of the Inter-DPS U-19 Cricket and Football teams.

The prestigious event was graced by Lt General Shankar Prasad, PVSM, VSM, along with Ms Renuka Prasad, Honorary Secretary, Indian Cancer Society, Delhi Branch. The school also welcomed distinguished alumni Ms Sama Mehta, President, Student Council (2015–16), and Mr Archishman Chaudhuri, President, Head Council (2020–21), making the occasion even more special for students and parents alike.

Addressing the gathering, Lt General Shankar Prasad inspired students to value time, dream ambitiously, remain creative, and face every challenge with courage and confidence. His motivating words resonated deeply with the young achievers and aspiring student leaders.

The programme featured vibrant cultural performances, adding colour and energy to the celebrations while reflecting the diverse talents of the students. The ceremony served as a proud platform to honour dedication, perseverance, and excellence across multiple fields.

Speaking on the occasion, Director of DPS Sector 45 Gurgaon, Ms. Aditi Misra said, “Education today must go beyond textbooks and examinations. It is equally important to nurture emotionally strong, balanced, and responsible young individuals who can adapt to the rapidly changing world with confidence and compassion. Ms. Misra also encouraged parents to support their children in leading balanced lives by ensuring time for relaxation, limiting excessive mobile usage, and fostering resilience and independence among teenagers.

Ms. Rati Chugh, Principal, DPS Sector 45, Gurgaon, spoke about the challenges faced by teenagers in contemporary times, urging a supportive and understanding approach.

The ceremony also witnessed the oath-taking of the newly elected Student Council, administered by the dignitaries along with Ms Sapna Dhawan, Associate Director, DPS Sector 45 Gurgaon. Following the oath, the council members formally assumed their leadership responsibilities for the academic year.
