Padel for Paws Edition 2: India’s First Charity Padel Event Set to Take Over Mumbai on 11th May

Mumbai, India, May 08: Get ready for something big! Padel for PawsEdition 2, India’s first and most exciting charity-led padel experience, is set to take over Mumbai on 11th May 2026.

Hosted by YODA (Youth Organisation in Defence of Animals) – a new-age, action-first animal welfare organisation, along with PadelPark India, India’s largest 360° padel ecosystem, the event will take place at the Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club, Phoenix Palladium, from 4 PM onwards.

Padel for Paws is where sport, culture, and purpose come together to create an experience that’s as meaningful as it is unforgettable.

The event is designed as a high-energy, charity evening bringing together a powerful mix of Bollywood celebrities, pro-players, athletes, creators, private donors, business leaders, and animal lovers: all showing up for one cause.

This invite-only experience will host a curated guest list, with limited access to ensure a premium, high-engagement environment both on and off the court.

At its core, Padel for Paws is built around giving, where every match, every rally, and every experience goes beyond the court and contributes directly to animal welfare. From gameplay to participation to on-ground engagement, everything feeds into the larger mission of creating real impact, with all funds raised supporting YODA’s ongoing animal welfare initiatives.

Set against the backdrop of the Phoenix HSBC Racquet Club, one of India’s most premium racquet sports venues with 12 world-class courts, the scale matches the ambition: bold, elevated, and built to stand alongside the world’s most iconic charity-sport events.

“With over 62 million stray animals in India, the scale of the problem is massive, but so is the opportunity to create change. Padel for Paws is about turning participation into impact, where every match, every moment, directly contributes to improving animal lives. This is just the beginning of building a movement that brings more people into the cause in a meaningful way.” – Akarsh Hebbar, Co-founder – YODA

Padel for Paws is a powerful example of how the sport can go beyond recreation, becoming a platform for impact, awareness, and collective action. As padel continues to grow rapidly in India, we believe it’s important to shape the culture around it as well.” – Jigar Doshi, Co-founder – PadelPark India

This isn’t just about playing the game. It’s about playing for something bigger.
