Kolkata, May 05: JIS University entered into an International Academic Partnership with San Diego State University Global Campus, USA and offer US accredited higher education programs.
This collaboration marked a strategic step towards strengthening global academic integration, providing students in India with access to international education pathways while promoting cross-border knowledge exchange.
It is aimed at jointly offering US–accredited higher education programs under the SDSU GlobalFlex framework, enabling students to access globally recognized curricula. SDSU, a part of the prestigious California State University system, brought its academic expertise and global outreach through its Global Campus, which offers both credit and non-credit programs tailored to international learners.
As per the agreement, both institutions committed to defined roles and responsibilities to ensure seamless delivery of academic programs while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and quality. Students enrolled under the GlobalFlex Programs are recognised as SDSU students and are governed by SDSU’s academic and disciplinary regulations, alongside adherence to JIS University’s institutional framework where applicable. The agreement also outlined strict guidelines on student admissions, data protection, and ethical practices, ensuring transparency and safeguarding the interests of students. Both parties agreed to comply with relevant data protection laws and maintain confidentiality of student information. The partnership was set for an initial term of five years, with provisions for review and renewal.
