Prime Video Unveils Trailer of Musical Action Drama ‘Lukkhe’, Set to Premiere May 8

Mumbai, April 30: Prime Video India today unveiled the high-octane trailer of its upcoming Prime Original series Lukkhe, a fictional musical action drama that blends rap, revenge, and redemption into a gripping narrative. The trailer launch took place at a live event in Mumbai in collaboration with Amazon Music and Warner Music India.

Directed by Himank Gaur and produced by Vipul D. Shah and Rajesh Bahl under the banner of Optimystix Entertainment and White Guerrilla LLP, the eight-episode series is created and executive produced by Agrim Joshi and Debojit Das Purkayastha.

Headlined by Raashii Khanna and KING—who makes his acting debut—the series also stars Palak Tiwari and Lakshvir Singh Saran in lead roles, alongside Nakul Roshan Sahdev, Kritika Bharadwaj, Shivankit Parihar, Yograj Singh, and Ayesha Raza Mishra in pivotal roles. Lukkhe will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in Hindi across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on May 8.

The trailer plunges viewers into an intense world where music and conflict collide. It spotlights MC Badnaam, played by KING, his fierce rivalry with MC OG, and an evolving love story between Lucky and Sanober. As emotions escalate, the narrative explores the intersections of ambition, relationships, and personal battles, driven by a powerful soundtrack ranging from hard-hitting rap to emotional melodies.

Speaking about the series, director Himank Gaur said that Lukkhe explores a world that is “loud, emotional, and constantly on edge,” where music becomes a powerful form of expression for each character.

Raashii Khanna, who plays Gurbani, described her role as a balance between vulnerability and strength, while KING called his acting debut a “defining moment,” highlighting the personal connection he felt with his character’s journey.

Palak Tiwari and Lakshvir Singh Saran also shared insights into their roles, emphasizing the emotional depth and relatability of their characters.

With its blend of music, drama, and action, Lukkhe promises a fresh and engaging storytelling format, capturing the intensity of modern narratives and the evolving landscape of digital entertainment.
