New Delhi, Apr 29: Vertical Data Inc., operator of VerticalData.io and GPUfinancing.com, announced that it has opened an office in New Delhi, India. The office is intended to serve as the Company’s base for AI infrastructure, GPU financing and data center development activity in the region.
Vertical Data has partnered with an initial two-person team (Ratan Kapoor and Dhanraj Misra) to lead Vertical Data’s expansion in the region and intends to hire additional personnel in the near future. The team is focused on four opportunity areas: sovereign AI infrastructure programs, enterprise GPU deployments, data center development and working with Indian neocloud operators. The team has already built a substantial pipeline of business with local and global cloud providers looking for AI hardware, gpu financing and managed services infrastructure.
India is one of the fastest-scaling AI infrastructure markets globally. According to industry data cited by Astute Analytica, the India data center market was valued at $8.94 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $31.36 billion by 2035. Nomura forecasts India’s data center capacity could reach 9.2 GW by 2030. Additionally, The Tech Portal cites that India is aiming to attract $200 billion in AI infrastructure spending, with $90 billion already committed.
