April, 29: Modern Public School Shalimar Bagh successfully hosted Shiksha Shakti Samman 2026, a grand ceremony dedicated to recognising excellence in academics, sports, co-curricular achievements, and outstanding contributions by educators and women leaders.
The event was graced by His Excellency Gulab Chand Kataria ji, Governor of Punjab, as the Chief Guest, in the presence of Managing Director Shri Ajay Kapur and Principal Dr. Alka Kapur.
Approximately 250 students were felicitated for their exceptional performance across various domains, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic excellence. Among the key highlights, CBSE Board toppers Govind Ramuka (99.4% in Grade XII) and Aryaman Agarwal (97.8% in Grade X) were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements.
The ceremony also recognised distinguished women achievers including, including Rouble Nagi, Dr. Shivani Sharma, Shikha Ghai, Ms. Rhea Raheja, Ms. Geeta Chhabra, Ms. Pooja Gogia, Ms. Ritu Bhatia, Ms. Ritika Verma, and Ms. Sheena Sharma, acknowledging their exemplary contributions and their ability to balance professional excellence with personal responsibilities.
Adding cultural vibrancy to the event, a traditional Gondhal dance performance captivated the audience by the student of Modern Public School.
